Three covers from soviet artists

1. Vocal group Gaya is originally from Azerbaijan. This country (at that time part of Soviet Union) has produced many great artists and musicians. In 60's Gaya started as vocal quartet but this song recorded in 1977 by vocal sextet with band accompanied behind.
Here is a cover version of Whirlwinds written by Deodato

ВИА Гая - Бразильская композиция

2. Georgian state orchestra "Rero" performs L-Dopa written by Keith Mansfield and performed before by Maynard Ferguson Big Band. It is difficult to find any information about Georgian band. But the record which I got is quite good. Maybe later I will write another post about them.

Государственный эстрадный оркестр Грузии "Рэро" - Эль Допа

3. This Moscow jazz quartet released very niсe LP in 1977.

The band comprises
Igor Nazaruk - piano
Alexey Kuznetsov - guitar
Alexey Isplatovsky - contrabass

Here is "Bumpin'" originally written by Wes Montgomery.
